All our third party service providers who may need access to our members' information to perform fulfillment and other services are held to the strictest confidentiality requirements and are (a) only authorized to use the PII for the intended purpose accessed and (b) not permitted by us to use PII in any other way or for any other reason.

While we do offer children's products and our parent entity offers a book club for parents that sells children's books, we do not solicit children for membership but, rather, their parents. Any information we do have on file relating to the children of members is used for internal purposes only in conjunction with their account. With regard to our list-rental practices, we do not offer or disclose specific individual information about our members' children (other than the fact that there are households with children of a particular age range and sex).

Personally identifiable information collected on this site may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which BOOKSONLINE.COM or its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using this site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

BOOKSONLINE.COM offers members book-club editions that are discounted from publishers' edition prices and sometimes are altered in size in order to save the members money. Members are solely responsible for applicable sales tax except in states where club has physical location whereas we will collect from you. BOOKSONLINE.COM fulfills orders only in those territories for which rights have been granted to them under license. Within a reasonable time after this information is received, the following action will be taken: (1) The infringing material or Site will be blocked (2) Reasonable efforts will be taken to promptly inform the infringing user of the situation (3) In the case of first-time offenders, the infringing material will be removed (4) To the extent possible, repeat offenders will be removed permanently from the system.

The infringing user may respond with a counter notice which may include a signed statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the user has a good faith belief that the removal or disablement was a result of a mistake or misidentification.
